Best of 2017 | Nashville Wedding & Family Photographers

How in the world is it already 2018!?!?!  I seriously feel like it’s still the year 2000, but nope, it’s almost 2 decades past that.  We’re all getting old, I guess.

Well, 2017 was a FULL year to say the least.  It was probably one of the best years of our lives because, along with everyone else in 2017, WE HAD A BABY!  Yep, our first kid.  She’s the best thing that’s ever happened to us and makes any bad day better.  I mean, the joy this child brings us is ridiculous and we fall more and more in love with her every single day.  We know, with children, not every day will be snow (which is way better than the blazing armpit summers in TN) and sour patch kids (best candy ever), but it’s all worth it.

We had friends get engaged, photographed surprise engagements, had some of Greg's family visit, and one of the greatest highlights of the year…my bro got married!! We were able to travel to several fun places like Chicago, Keystone, Chattanooga, Amarillo, Melbourne (AU), Santa Fe and the Smoky’s…most of which was thanks to photography.  Ya gotta love having a job that enables you to travel and see the world! We love it!

We also were asked to be Franklin High School’s football photographers.  Let’s get real though, Greg shot most of the games because I was WAAAYYY pregnant and almost got totaled by the team when they intercepted the ball and ran it back for a TD.  I heard a roaring crowd behind me and when my 8 months prego body turned…every football player on the sidelines and his mom was running towards me. I almost died…not really…but maybe.  All in all it was a great year, also because the Titans made the playoffs for the first time since we all used hieroglyphics. 

We feel so blessed to be in a business where we get to meet so many awesome people and gain friends along the way.  We always feel so honored to be a part of wedding days, which is one of the most important days in a couple’s life and we never take it lightly. 

To all of you who have hired us, and all that may in the future…we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.  We hope that the service we provide you allows you to relive those special moments and that we capture in a photograph every feeling that you may have otherwise forgotten.
